A powerful 6.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Taiwan on Tuesday but there were no immediate reports of damage, casualties or tsunamis, theSeismology Centre said.
The undersea tremor, which could be felt in the capital Taipei, struck at 11:16 am (0316 GMT) about 31 kilometres (19 miles) off southeastern Taitung county at a depth of 30 kilometres, it said.

The USGS are reporting the quake as 5.2 magnitude, I have not seen any reports of damage or injuries.
